This image shows me crying about missing my Badimaya country. I wasthinking about the possibility that I may go to my ancestors far awayfrom such sorrow.I was also told by someone that I wasn’t a real Badimaya person becauseI lived in the city. Something which only occurred after the Native Titlelegislation was introduced to the lives of First Nation people. First Nationpeople had to prove a continual connection to land which is a humanrights violation according to the Indigenous UN.At the time I was living in North Perth which is very close to the city of Perth.
