This icon is about a grandmother who had been stolen from her familyand culture at an early age. She found her family again after decadesand began to learn more about her culture. She told me she began toteach her grandchildren about her life story and the things she learntfrom her lost family.Inside the heads of her grandchildren are pictographs of their thoughtsas they listen to their grandmother’s knowledge.
