Curatorial insightBradfield’s Colours of the Coast works are inspired by the landscape of Geraldton’s coast and the art and craft of print-making. His palette emerges from the distinctive colours of the region and the printed application from his enquiries into a range of techniques and materials. These works focus directly on the zone where land meets ocean in Geraldton. Colours of the coast 1 features island and rock formations that appear to tumble energetically into the ocean, making it a true liminal zone between elements. (AGWA 2010)
